In India, the most popular education board is CBSE. CBSE prepares students for Primary, Secondary, and Senior Secondary Levels. CBSE conducts two larger examinations: All India Secondary School Examination AISSE (X level) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination AISSCE (XII level). The ICSE examination is conducted by another committee, CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination). Also, you have multiple options in all locations.

Yes, it is possible. There are no strict regulations. If a student is studying on the ICSE board, he cannot be transferred to the school to which the CBSE belongs. You only need the current school's regular documents, such as character certificate, migration certificate, transfer certificate, etc. And submit them to the new school.

CBSE-based national exams: IIT-JEE, NEET (AIPMT), and JEE Main are all based on the CBSE syllabus.
